I was born in the Bronx and grew up on Long Island. After training mostly in the Northeast, I spent some time practicing in San Diego and then Chapel Hill, NC where my children were raised. After 35 years away, I returned to New York City and have been practicing general internal medicine and rheumatology with New York Physicians for the past 12 years.
I greatly enjoy the various aspects of practice: the wonderful relationships I have with my patients, the challenges of making diagnoses, the process of helping patients make decisions about treatments and of educating them about their medical conditions.
In addition to my professional activities, I am an active amateur chamber musician ( a passion I share with my husband) , and enjoy reading and writing. I love New York City and I love to leave New York City for more rural environs.
